Information about the host The Petronell-Carnuntum campsite is a small, family-run campsite just a few minutes' walk from the town center.
The site offers up to 8 pitches for motorhomes and caravans as well as around 15 tent pitches, which can be chosen flexibly on the site or marked out if required - ideal for travelers who want to be uncomplicated and free-standing.
The spacious, level lawns create a relaxed atmosphere, while the proximity to the tennis hall with its cozy restaurant provides a practical infrastructure.
Here you can start the day with breakfast or enjoy regional delicacies - perfect after a hike or an excursion.

The region also offers a wide range of opportunities for cycling and hiking tours - for example along the Danube, in the Donau-Auen National Park or in the nearby Hundsheim mountains.
Another highlight are the magnificent Marchfeld castles such as Schloss Hof and Schloss Niederweiden, which are perfect for a day trip.
The campsite is located directly on the Way of St.
James and is therefore also a popular stopover for pilgrims.
Thanks to the good connections to rail and cycle paths, excursions to Hainburg an der Donau, Vienna or Bratislava are also possible without any problems.
