Only a 5 minute drive from the closest sandy beach for you to sunbathe or take a dive whenever you please! This enchanting stone tower that protects your peace from the outside world, is wonderful example of vernacular architecture in Mani and it is bound to reconnect you with nature.
The endless view of the horizon and the mountains on the other side are views to get lost in. It has a very cozy interior fully equipped and decorated with attention to detail, to provide for all your desires.
Ideal if you are looking for an escape, or even if you are just looking for a cape, since cape Tenaro is only 3km away! It is also only a 6 minute drive to Tenaro Beach (3km) where you can also also visit the Tenaro Archeological Site and the Aria Star nearby, the remains of the ancient Roman mosaic.
Walking a little further (20 minutes) you can visit the Tenaro Lighthouse, a majestic landmark at the southernest tip of the balkan peninsula, built by the french in the 19th century. It is also only a 7 minute drive from Sternes beach (3.2km), Neoria beach (3.3km) and an 8 minute drive (4km) to the Porto Kayo beach, all perfect for a dive in crystal clear waters. A 5 minute drive (2.5km) from the Grigorakaki Fortress, a remarkable example of venacular architecture in Mani. The extended area has over 100 churches and chapels to visit, with more than half of them being Byzantene churches with some of them built in as early as the 12th century.
