Lisle Combe Cottage is a picturesque stone cottage hidden away on The Undercliff between St Lawrence and Ventnor, on the south coast of the Isle of Wight.
As you step out of your car, you will feel a sense of calm at the sheer beauty and utter tranquillity of your surroundings.
Inside, Lisle Combe Cottage is full of original character and charm, with beamed ceilings throughout the ground floor and stunning views from the spacious dining room, sitting room, and kitchen.
The kitchen is contemporary and has been cleverly designed to complement the many features of the original cottage.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both with stunning coastal views.
The larger bedroom has a super king-size bed, with the zip/link function of becoming two singles, while the other houses one adult single bed and one suitable for a child.
The garden is private and extremely pretty, with mature shrubs and trees all around.
Look out towards the horizon and you will see the green pastureland giving way to the bluest of seas, where shoals of fish glisten in the sun. The cottage is a short walk from the wonderful Ventnor Botanic Garden, which benefits from the Undercliffs Mediterranean climate, enabling many varieties of worldwide subtropical and temperate plants to thrive here.
As well as having a very popular café/restaurant, the gardens hold many exhibitions and events throughout the year.
Just a 15-minute walk along the coastal path will bring you to the island's hidden treasure, Steephill Cove, where you can swim safely and stroll along its sand and shingle beach.
Watch the fisherman launch their boats, or sit on the beach enjoying a crab sandwich, while watching some of the island's most spectacular sunsets.

Lisle Combe Cottage is a wonderful family holiday home on the Isle of Wight, situated a short walk from Orchard Bay between St Lawrence and Ventnor. The cottage has three bedrooms, including one double room on the ground floor, a room with a zip/link super king-size bed, and a twin room with one adult single bed and one children's single. There is a bathroom on the first floor and a shower room on the ground floor. The kitchen is contemporary and, along with the dining room and sitting room, enjoys stunning views. The garden is pretty, with far-reaching coastal views, a lawn, and a patio with seating and a barbecue. Lisle Combe Cottage is perfect for a relaxing break by the sea. Wat een heerlijk huis. Lekker koel in de warme zomer. Ruime slaapkamers en keuken. Fijne tuin om te BBQ-en.
We konden geen kussens voor de tuinstoelen vinden. Maar op de strandhanddoeken zitten werkte prima.

We had a great stay. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked. The upstairs shower could do with an update. We felt a little extra heat in the lounge would have been an asset and the sofas weren't very comfortable, but we did love the house and its position. So great to see the sea from the lovely garden. Nice to be welcomed with wine and flowers.

A beautiful cottage in a superb location. Plenty of space and a delightful garden. Parking is always a bonus, as is a distant sea view.We had an excellent holiday.
