These two spacious and atmospheric holiday homes are situated side by side in a unique location on the canal in the authentic center of Giethoorn. Together, De Turfsteker and De Punterbouwer can accommodate up to twelve people and form an ideal accommodation for families, groups of friends, or multiple families who want to vacation together while maintaining their own space and privacy.
Both homes feature a living area of over 100 m² and have been completely renovated. The cozy living rooms are furnished with a comfortable seating area and television. The fully equipped kitchens include a dishwasher, filter coffee maker, Senseo, kettle, and microwave. There are a total of six bedrooms, each furnished with two single beds. Additionally, the homes feature a bathroom with a shower and toilet. One of the homes is equipped with a washing machine.
Through the French doors, you reach the private terraces with a canopy, barbecue, and private mooring on the water. The canals are directly connected to Lake Bovenwijde, allowing you to easily explore the surroundings by boat. You can moor your own silent boat or rent a luxury electric sloop for a relaxing day on the water.
From the homes, you can walk to cozy restaurants, terraces, and shops in the center of Giethoorn. Weerribben-Wieden National Park is also nearby and offers plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, and boating. An excellent destination for groups looking to enjoy comfort, space, and a unique location in the Venice of the Netherlands.
Particularities
• Sports clubs, student associations and youth groups (up to 25 years) are not allowed.
• The minimum age of the main booker for this holiday home is 18 years.
• Two parking spaces per property are available in De Sloothaak car park. This car park is located before the bridge. For the park, you have to cross the bridge. Once you have checked in at reception, you can get a cart for your luggage.
• It is possible to rent a deluxe electric sloop with cushion set.

Sail through the water village, discover the cosy terraces and restaurants, and visit museums. Explore the surroundings by taking a nice walking or cycling tour through the beautiful park and discover the unique flora and fauna the park has to offer. Rather do something active? Then take to the heights at klimbos Paasloo. Fun for children! If you would like to visit a big city and go shopping, you can go to Steenwijk, Meppel or Zwolle.

Wij hadden de 2 huizen naaste elkaar gehuurd . Konden al vroeg onze spullen kwijt in1 huis. Een vriendelijke ontvangst in een mooi dorp. Alles was top in de huizen

Prachtige omgeving, heerlijke huisjes die rustig liggen. Plaats voor 8 personen. Weerribben bezocht en via de eigenaar fluisterboten gehuurd. Supermarkt in het dorp alle dagen open. Uitstekend verblijf gehad.

Het enige jammer is dat op de site van heerlijke huisjes wordt geadverteerd alsof het 1 huis is voor 16 personen. Pas na de boeking wanneer ik een mail kreeg van gastheer werd duidelijk dat het om 2 huisjes ging. En op de factuur staat het in hele kleine letters bovenaan. Maar omschrijving op site staat echt alles beschreven als 1 huis. Niet netjes en misleidend.
